2. Scope and Legal Framework#
This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you visit our website, contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, or use a link or function for booking a meeting. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/revDSG) and the related Data Protection Ordinance.
Personal data means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. We process personal data lawfully, proportionately, transparently, and only for purposes that are stated or apparent from the circumstances.
3. Visiting the Website#
We do not currently use analytics or marketing tools to track visitors, and we do not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies.
When a website is accessed, technical data may nevertheless be processed automatically by the hosting provider in server logs. Depending on the provider's configuration, this may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested page or file, referrer, browser, operating system, device information, and technical status data. Such processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain security and stability, prevent misuse, and investigate technical faults.
4. Contact Enquiries#
If you contact us by email or through a contact form, we process the information you provide voluntarily. Depending on the form or message, this may include your name, contact details, company, selected service, and the content of your enquiry.
We use this information to receive and answer your enquiry, assess possible cooperation, communicate with you, prepare requested information or an offer, and conduct reasonable follow-up relating to your request. We may also evaluate enquiries internally in an aggregated or non-identifying form to understand demand for our services and improve our offering. We do not use contact-form submissions for unrelated advertising without a separate legal basis or consent where required.
Submitting a form authorises us to process the information for the purposes described above. It does not constitute blanket consent to unrelated processing.
Contact information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to process the enquiry and any resulting relationship. Information may be retained for longer where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
5. Newsletter#
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process the information entered in the subscription form, in particular your email address, to manage the subscription and send the requested communications. Subscription is voluntary. Where implemented, the subscription is confirmed through a double opt-in procedure so that the registration can be verified.
You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a newsletter or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal. After unsubscribing, we may retain a minimal suppression record where necessary to ensure that no further newsletters are sent to that address.
A newsletter provider may process subscriber data on our behalf and may technically record delivery, opens, or link interactions where those functions are enabled.
6. Meeting Bookings#
Our website may provide a link to a third-party calendar or booking service. If you choose to use that service, the provider processes the information you enter, such as your name, email address, selected time, and message, to arrange and manage the meeting. The provider may also send confirmations or reminders.
Where the booking service is an external website, you leave our website when you follow the link. The provider's own privacy policy and terms apply to its independent platform. We select and use service providers with reasonable care, but we do not control their independent websites, security arrangements, or processing beyond our contractual and legal sphere of responsibility.
7. External Links and Third-Party Services#
The website may contain links to third-party platforms such as professional networks, social-media services, maps, or other external websites. No personal data is intentionally sent to the linked provider merely because a normal text link is displayed. If you follow a link, the provider may receive technical access data and process further information under its own privacy policy.
We have no control over the content or independent data-processing practices of external websites. The inclusion of a link does not mean that we endorse all content or practices of the linked service.
8. Service Providers and Disclosures#
We may give hosting, email, form, newsletter, booking, IT, or other technical service providers access to personal data only where necessary to provide the relevant function. These providers may process data on our behalf or, for their own platforms, under their own responsibility.
We may also disclose information where required by Swiss law, an enforceable official order, or where necessary to protect or enforce legal rights. We do not sell personal data.
9. Processing Abroad#
Some service providers may process data outside Switzerland. If personal data is disclosed to a country without an adequate level of data protection, we use an appropriate safeguard where required, such as recognised standard contractual clauses, unless a statutory exception applies.
10. Data Security#
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risks to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Data transmission over the internet and electronic storage can never be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Automated Decisions#
We do not currently make decisions based exclusively on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects for website visitors.
12. Changes#
We may update this Privacy Policy when the website, our processing activities, service providers, or legal requirements change. The version published on the website with its stated date is the current version.
